NAAMM 2010 Fall Meeting

The Hotel:

The Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile is an upscale, all-suite hotel in a prime downtown Chicago location within walking distance of Lakeshore Drive, Water Tower Place, Magnificent Mile shopping and Navy Pier.

  • Run of the House Single: $150.00 per night
  • Run of the House Double: $150.00 per night
  • Rates: All rates are subject to 15.4% occupancy tax.
  • For reservations call the hotel at 312-664-1100. Refer to the National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers group block to receive the negotiated group rate, or click here to register for a room online.
  • Check in time is 3:00pm and check out is Noon. A deposit of one night's room and tax charges or credit card information authorizing the deposit is required at time of reservation.
  • Cut off date for reservations is Wednesday October 6, 2010.
  • On site Valet Parking at the hotel is $50.00 over night with In/Out privileges.

  • Mail or Fax your meeting registration with check or credit card payment to NAAMM. Payment may be submitted separately for faxed registrations.

The Schedule:

The 2010 Fall Meeting schedule includes the regular division meetings of HMMA, AMP, DEMA, EMMA and MBG.  Attendees review and act on a number of important Association and industry issues at these meetings.

This years speaker is Mike Collins, VP, Building Products at Jordan, Knauff & Company, a Chicago-based investment bank. Mr. Collins will discuss the state of the door industry and trends that are affecting this market segment. In particular, he will cover M&A activity, plant expansions, foreign competition and steps to take in order to weather this tough market. He will also share insights gained from the recent Window & Door Industry Benchmark Survey.

In addition to regularly scheduled Fall Meeting events, attendees will also have ample opportunity for informal networking at the planned group events throughout the weekend.
