Upon completion of this course, the participant will have a basic understanding of the following:

The necessary requirements, processes and procedures for obtaining the ratings for Fire-Rated Doors and Frames

A variety of Fire-Rated Door and Frame applications, including requirements for glazing, transoms and other components

Course Title: Installation and Storage of Hollow Metal Doors and Frames

Upon completion of this course, the participant will have a basic understanding of the following:

Describe the necessary precautions for the successful installation and operation of hollow metal frames.

List the requirements for the successful installation and operation of hollow metal frames.

Explain the proper receipt and storage of hollow metal doors and frames on a jobsite and list where each of the responsibilities lay.

Illustrate the correct Installation and anchoring techniques for hollow metal frames.

Course Title: The Hollow Metal Manual: Progressive Solutions for Hollow Metal Doors and Frames

Upon completion of this course, the participant will have a basic understanding of the following:

List the fire test requirements, processes and procedures for obtaining ratings on fire rated doors and frames.

Explain the hardware requirements and configurations for use in fire rated doors and frames.

Explain the various fire rated door and frame applications including requirements for glazing, transoms and other components.

Specify hollow metal and steel doors in accordance with guidelines published in the Hollow Metal Manual
